Solution :
Since, a bottle contains 5.4 L of juice, and a glass can hold 0.3 L of juice.
So, required number of glasses = 5.4 ÷ 0.3
= \(\frac{54}{3}\)
= 18
Thus, 18 glasses are needed to fill the juice from the bottle.

Solution :
Convert 2 ft 9 inches into feet :
1 foot = 12 inches
9 inches = \(\frac{9}{12}\) ft
= 0.75 ft
2 ft 9 inches = 2 + 0.75
= 2.75 ft
Compare with 2.9 ft :
2.75 ft ≠ 2.9 ft
The cupboard was made 2.9 ft, which is longer than the actual measurement of 2.75 ft, so it could not fit properly.

Solution :
Find a decimal x such that

9 x – x = 9
8 x = 9

The area of a auditorium is 927.5 square feet. If each student requires 2.5 square feet of space, how many students can fit in the auditorium?
Solution :
It would be 927.5 ÷ 2.5.
