→ A green school is one where teachers and students work together to protect the environment. In a green school, people save water, reduce waste, use electricity carefully, and plant trees. Everyone helps in keeping the school clean, green, and safe.
→ Managing waste is very important. Things should be used carefully and reused whenever possible. Waste, like leftover food and paper, can be separated into dry and wet waste. This keeps the place clean and helps in recycling. Old papers are often collected by local recyclers who reuse them.

→ Classrooms under trees and with open windows let cool air come in and make the room cooler. A white-painted roof reflects the Sun’s heat and keeps the rooms cool. While the black surfaces absorb heat.

→ Water is very precious and everyone uses it daily for many purposes. Water must not be wasted. Even a small dripping tap can waste a lot of water drop by drop. Checking for dripping taps and fixing them is very important. Trees are home to many living beings. They provide shade, clean air and food for birds, humans and insects. They also keep the surroundings cool. Taking care of trees is one step toward making the school green.
→ The dream of Asha, Mohit and other children of making their school the best, made them think about the problems people face in society. They understood that they too can help by spreading awareness about such problems that make life difficult.
→ Thomas discussed about the problems of road accidents. Many people do not follow traffic rules, which often causes accidents. Knowing traffic rules and following them is important for everyone’s safety. There was also a session on fire safety in Mohit’s school. All the students attended this session. Knowing fire safety rules can help save lives from the dangers of fires.
The way students behave in school or at home matters a lot. Being polite, helping others, and speaking kindly makes everyone feel happy and safe. Good behaviour makes surroundings feel warm and friendly.
