One summer afternoon, Gopi was reading a book when he heard a sound in the garden. He thought it was a mango falling but found a white hockey ball instead. Gopi didn’t know whose ball it was, so he went to the playground to ask his friends.

All the children guessed about the ball, each thinking it could be theirs, but no one was sure whose it was. They decided to play a hockey game with it. During the game, a boy named Jay hit the ball hard.
It flew out of the ground and landed in a passing scooter’s basket. The scooter driver didn’t see the ball and drove away with it!
All the children ran to get the ball, but it was too late. They all looked at each other and laughed. The ball was gone with the scooter!

One summer afternoon, Gopi was reading a book in the veranda. Suddenly, he heard something fell in the garden with a thud. Gopi thought it was a mango and went to look for it. He searched in the grass and bushes but found nothing at first. Then he saw a white hockey ball on a heap of dry leaves.
Gopi picked up the ball and wondered whose it could be. He looked around but did not see anyone. His mother called him inside because it was too hot.
