The duties of a postman are very hard. He gets up early in the morning to go to his post office. There he sorts the letters of his ward from a large heap of letters. Postmen or Postwomen are required to deliver letters, parcels, and cards to businesses and homes. They are part of the logistics sector because they keep constant contact between business and people. These workers can also collect letters from places of work, post offices and post boxes within a district. They walk to deliver letters and also drive bicycles and cars depending on
location and package size. Postmen usually perform many of the following tasks:

- Taking mail from post boxes.
- Delivering mail.
- Loading mailbags.
- Getting signatures for some deliveries.
Then he goes to his ‘beat’. He goes from street to street and house to house. The further he goes, the lighter becomes his load. Sometimes he covers a large distance. He delivers a letter to this one, a parcel or a bundle of gifts to another and a money order to the third. Besides the letters he delivers money-orders. He has to deal with parcels which are sometimes very costly. He has to read the address in several languages.
Bad and illegible writing presents a problem for him. Wrong addresses baffle him. Despite these difficulties he does his duty honestly and efficiently. He does not care for the hot sun on his duty. Rain cannot stop him from going on his work. Seasons have great effect on his efficiency of work. The Postman is always responsible for the loss of any letter, parcel or money order. He has to explain for the delay in delivery. Wrong delivery tells upon his service. He risks his life while he carries the money orders. His work may seem easy but it requires great discipline, sincerity and passion.

Every cook should know the tricks to making meatless meals that really satisfy. People who reduce meat in their diet consume less saturated fat and cholesterol, more dietary fibre and higher levels of folate, vitamins C and E, potassium and magnesium.
One should keep the following tips in mind when preparing a vegetarian meal:
Start with a protein source: There are many plant-based protein sources to choose from, such as tofu, beans, lentils, nuts, and seeds.
Include a variety of vegetables as they are a great source of vitamins, minerals, and fibre. Aim to include a variety of colours and types of vegetables in your meal.
Choose whole grains over refined grains as they are a good source of fibre and nutrients. Refined grains, such as white bread and white rice, have been stripped of many of their nutrients.
Use healthy fats such as those found in avocados, nuts, and seeds, are good for your heart and overall health.
Limit processed foods which are often high in unhealthy fats, sugar, and salt. Choose whole, unprocessed foods whenever possible.
Make a balanced meal by combining protein and fibre at meals will help one feel full longer. Hence use some basic flour or lentils ingredient to get protein and fibre from carrots and peppers etc.
Slow-roast food, as this will remove the amount of water it contains, thereby intensifying the flavour and making the texture chewier.
Include chewy foods like seared firm tofu, grilled mushrooms and nuts feel more filling because they take more time and effort to eat than, say, a spoonful of broth.
Include Umami Ingredients. The word umami, roughly translated as “delicious,” was coined by a Japanese scientist who discovered this fifth taste. He found that the glutamate in foods can be detected by humans, giving food an appeal that is neither sweet, salty, or sour nor bitter (the other four tastes). Vegetables high in umami include asparagus, tomatoes, peas, corn and onions. Soyfoods, including tofu.

When Kanha arrived at his new school, he was very lonely. He didn’t know anyone, and he didn’t have any friends. He would often sit by himself at lunch and recess, and he would listen to his music to keep himself company.
One day, Kanha was sitting by himself at lunch when he saw a group of kids playing music. He was very interested, so he went over to talk to them. The kids were very friendly, and they invited Kanha to play with them. Kanha had a lot of fun playing music with his ? new friends, and he finally felt like he belonged somewhere.

I had a very stressful and harrowing experience while boarding a train to Kolkata without a ticket. I had overslept and did not hear my alarm and hence got late in reaching the station. The train was about to leave and as I was in a hurry to catch the train I didn’t have time to buy a ticket. I thought I could get away with it, but I was wrong.
As soon as I got on the train, the ticket checker came around. I tried to avoid him but he was relentless and soon asked me to show my ticket. I told him that I didn’t have a ticket and he was very angry. He told me that I had to get off the train at the next station. I was very scared and I didn’t know what to do.
I started to plead with the ticket checker. I told him that I was on my way to an important meeting and that I would be in big trouble if I missed it. He didn’t listen to me. He just told me to get off the train.
I was about to get off the train when a woman came over to me. She told me that she had overheard my conversation with the ticket checker and as she had just received a message telling her that her work in Kolkata was postponed so she was getting off the train and I could take her ticket. She gave me her ticket and told me to use it. I was so grateful to her. I immediately paid her the amount of the ticket.
I sat down in the woman’s seat and I waited for the ticket checker to come back. He never came back. I was so relieved. I was able to make it to my meeting and I was not in any trouble.
I learned a valuable lesson that day. I learned that it is always important to buy a ticket before boarding a train. I will never forget the woman who helped me. She was a lifesaver.
iii. ‘Some teenagers spend a lot of their time practising sports, which is harmful for their
studies.’ Express your views either for or against the statement.

If teenagers neglect their studies, they may not be able to keep up with their schoolwork and may eventually fall behind. Additionally, if teenagers are involved in too many sports or activities, they may not have enough time to relax and socialize. This can lead to stress and burnout.
Another disadvantage is that children who have not developed stamina they might give up easily. The nature of every sport is that there will always be a winner and a loser and the chances of being’one or the other is inevitable. Some children have a hard time processing the idea of losing, and this sometimes can end up ruining the fun in the game because they have not dedicated enough time to their practices to build their strengths. Some children do not know how to control their emotions in times of losing. Hence they can become depressed or lose self confidence.
Some parents force their children to play sports and to practice even more. Consequently, this action takes away from the enjoyment of the game, and children can start losing motivation. Also, forcing children to play a huge amount of time without their consent can damage their mental and physical health. Further, children can start developing depression and anxiety due to the extra effort that they have to give to maintain the resilience to keep up.

One of the main benefits of sports is that they can help teenagers stay healthy. Exercise is important for everyone, but it is especially important for teenagers who are still growing and developing. Everyone fails at some point in their lives. It’s important to remember that failure is not the end of the world. It’s simply a setback. It’s what you do after you fail that matters.
One might assume that well-known and successful people, have succeeded at everything they do, with few to no stumbling blocks. But this is just what appears to outsiders because successful people will generally champion their successes and kick their failures under the rug.
As a result, it might seem as though successful businesses got that way because the stars aligned and Lady Luck paid a visit. In reality successful entrepreneurs are simply adept at capitalizing on failures, willing to try again and skilled at generating their own luck through a consistent approach to hard work.
Most successful people did not reach the pinnacle on their first try. Rather, they were able to ride out the rough patches, sustained by their belief in their vision and faith in their own abilities and hard work. If one believes that the tide will turn, it will turn usually at some point.
What is required is to simply persevere and continue working hard to achieve your f dream without giving up on it, no matter how big the obstacles seem. Perseverance and hard work is the bait you’ll use to lure in Lady Luck, and it will help you weather the storms.
You can control how hard you work and what you work on, as well as your attitude. I always believe that when a problem is something you can control, take a step back and assess the situation logically. When control is out of reach, one must strive for optimism. Optimism is an incredibly powerful tool for the human psyche. It can find silver linings in disasters, opportunities in missed cues and a sense of calm in the storm. Forward failure is still progress, and it provides invaluable learning opportunities provided one never gives up doing hard work.

And absence of open spaces in the modern colonies, townships, and residential areas has further aggravated. the problem.
In addition, playgrounds are a great way for children to get exercise. Exercise is essential for children’s physical and mental health. It helps them maintain a healthy weight, reduce stress, and improve their sleep quality.
I urge you to consider my request and construct large playgrounds in our city. This would be a great service to the community and would benefit children and youngsters immensely.
